Putting the Fun into Learning
All children have free flow access to two large rooms and an outdoor area. Each area has a variety of stimulating activities including adult led and child initiated learning. The generous ratio ensures children are well supported in their learning through play.
Two to Three Year Olds
Our two years olds are busy settling into the pre-school environment and developing their social skills. Regular carpet time, stories, role-play and group activities encourage them to develop new literacy and language skills. They take part in lots of messy play and creative activities which encourages them to develop fine-motor skills.
Three to Four Year Olds
During the final year, our children are getting ready for school. Our pre-school activities develop important foundational skills like learning numbers, letters, colours, emerging writing skills and interest in the world around us, while stimulating your child’s imagination and creativity.
WOW Events
We like to go the extra mile at QPS to ensure that our children have a variety of learning experiences. Our learning themes are constantly changing and our role play area could be a post office, hairdressers, spooky corner or Christmas grotto to name a few.
We have regular trips including farm visits, outdoor learning at Markeaton park and local walks. Children also have onsite experience days, most recently we had an animal day...with a petting zoo!
